Notes

VAN GOGH had a fixation for painting Sunflowers.

I have one for this subject, perhaps because no-one will ever see it.

It is 2600 light years away and light travels at 186000 miles per second.

When a large star dies it collapses and explodes with a force greater than anything known to man. A Supernova. This star died about 15000 years ago. Gas Atoms are flung out into space, at tremendous speeds and temperatures for thousands of years. Oxygen may be at 60,000 C. Their shockwaves glow at their individual frequencies. B\W photos are made of each frequency then coloured, in this case, sulphur is red, oxygen blue, and nitrogen yellow. The photos are then combined to give this vision.

Something special!
