Frozen” is one of Madonna’s best songs. My recording is from the BBC. She wears an odd voluminous dress with a cape – it may be by a top world designer. She stands on a spot. 

She performs a sort of ballet and arrives at this ugly pose about 2/3 through – like the wicked witch of the north. But after the song dies away she kneels on the stage in this strange elaborate bow – I call the dying blue swan.

These things  make her a very special entertainer and possibly the greatest ever female artist / artiste., a combination of music, song, dance, production and visual images in what I call “transient art”, unlike my or Picasso’s  “2D static” art. 

But it’s a hard life for a “Medieval, Warrior, Bitch, Goddess”!
