Sorry Leonardo I like my painting better than yours. She was brought up in a poor black community by very strict Italian Catholic Parents. 

This gave the teenager three visions

1. You were born a sinner and remained a sinner till you died.
2. Women were either virgins / whores. 
3. Her strident feminism conflicted with the male dominant church. 

She says the church gave her an inner strength, and she still believes in God, but not all the rituals, restrictions and ideals. 

There was constant criticism and provocation – and this was before all we now know about Catholic child abuse.

So, this is the 3rd part of The Enigma. Of course, on the other side of the world religion and sex do not clash. Sex is an itch that has to be scratched. 

Is it an accident that a cross tickles her untanned bosom? I hope I have achieved some sensuality in my painting. It looks old, dirty, and precious.
