I was asked to do a painting for the entrance to the Swanbridge Court flats.. Whitening an old canvas the result was a misty grey/green surface. On painting the Swans it was so beautiful and timeless but a bridge was demanded so I had to invent one and add connecting reeds. Finalised the day the Queen died.
