 The plane is a model of a F104 Starfighter. 

The painting was supposed to be aggressive and dynamic, with a long flame trailing the jet exhaust. To get a good metallic effect I photographed my plastic model which was covered in silver paint. 

I cut off the lowered wheels but couldn’t do anything about the air brakes being out. 

So it has ended up as the most soothing painting I have done with the plane hanging silent and motionless. in space.

But there is something special.

Being a photo it will slowly fade until it is just a ghost just like the fact the planes no longer exist.
