This huge painting was completed soon after I arrived at Dorchester to explore the problems of the very large. 

I did no more this size as I had to do it in 4 quarters – 2 upside down. It was inspired by a “postage stamp” sized icon in a Woman’s Magazine. 

A “one off” subject and quite naive but nevertheless impressive.
